North Cadbury Court is a luxurious 16th-century country house set in the picturesque Somerset countryside. Its Grade 1 listing speaks to its architectural beauty and historical significance, offering an unparalleled setting for your special occasion. Exclusive for your use, the court sprawls across 1,500 acres, allowing for both grand and intimate ceremonies.
At North Cadbury Court, your wedding ceremony can be as unique and special as your love story. Choose between a sophisticated civil ceremony in either the grand Ballroom or the North Hall, which can host up to 150 guests and offers a grand entrance via the Oak Staircase. If you prefer a traditional setting, St Michael’s Church is located just next door, with direct access from the estate. Alternatively, you can exchange vows outdoors on the estate’s grounds, whether that’s at the garden gazebo or by the lakeside.
At North Cadbury Court, your wedding reception unfolds in settings as grand or intimate as you desire. The lawns and terrace offer a picturesque outdoor area for a drinks reception in good weather, while the Morning Room, library, and North Hall serve as elegant indoor alternatives for enjoying drinks and canapés. For the wedding breakfast, select between the majestic Ballroom, seating up to 150 guests, or the more intimate North Hall, accommodating up to 80 guests. Celebrations can continue with dancing in the Ballroom, North Hall, or the basement disco (there’s also a fun casino in the cellar for extra entertainment).
Throughout the planning process and on the big day itself, North Cadbury Court’s experienced events team provides comprehensive support. From on-site planning meetings to virtual consultations and overseeing every detail during the event, they assist with catering, flowers, music, entertainment, and more. Evening managers are also on hand to ensure guests are looked after well into the night, making your wedding at North Cadbury Court a truly special occasion.

Just WOWOWOW! What a fabulous stay! Your team were truly terrific! They were all so attentive, smiley and brilliant – you should be so proud to work with such a welcoming and diligent bunch. I cannot speak highly enough of this extraordinary venue and the wonderful team who work there. For our annual corporate retreat we need somewhere that we can have exclusive hire of with plenty to do and a memorable experience for our team: boy does NCC deliver! The facilities and rooms are plentiful and first class. The property and grounds are big enough for a large group to really spread out and yet somehow also intimate enough for everyone to feel together. The team could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we needed but also left us alone so that it really felt like our very own place. We loved it so much that we immediately booked again for next year. Thank you, team NCC.
